Rider Insurance was founded by a motorcycle enthusiast and is exclusively dedicated to serving the needs and supporting the passions of the motorcycle community. Our knowledgeable and experienced staff provides affordable and easy to obtain motorcycle insurance that enables riders to get on their way and enjoy the freedom of the open road.
How we started – About our Founder
Rider Insurance is the largest provider of motorcycle insurance in the State of New Jersey. Rider is growing and now offers motorcycle insurance coverage in other states.
Rider Insurance was founded in 1971 to provide the motorcycle enthusiast with an alternative to the limited and expensive insurance available at that time.
Unlike other insurance companies, Rider Insurance focuses solely on the motorcycle community. We are proud participants of many motorcycle related events and charitable causes.
Harry Bleiwise, founder and chairman of Rider Insurance, is a motorcycle enthusiast himself. He has always valued the friendly atmosphere and extreme loyalty that exists among fellow riders. The company's foundation was built on Harry's dedication to the sport of riding.
