Operating a Motorcycle in Rhode Island
In order to operate a motorcycle in the state of Rhode Island you must:
- Meet the state’s minimum age requirement
- Obtain a Rhode Island motorcycle license (you also need to obtain a motorcycle permit)
- Register your motorcycle with the state of Rhode Island
- Obtain insurance coverage that meets Rhode Island state requirements
